Hi, sorry if i posted in the wrong section of the website. I would like to ask if anyone here have any information on where the bicycles in Hong Kong, those that are left in the streets and is either unwanted or collected by the government, where does these bicycles end up in? i’m looking to get these bicycles and cut them up for making other bicycles. I’m not a fan in buying new bicycles, i prefer to get a broken bicycle that has no owner and is free for me to cut it up. Some bicycles are only rusted in some particular area, i would like to savage the still in god condition parts for my projects.
I live near Sai Kung, if can, any scrap yard/ junk yard/ metal dump ect places near Sai Kung?

These bicycles are generally sold in large batches to the highest bidder. to find more information, it may be easiest to call 1832 (the government helpline).

    I hope that helps.
